  • Arlts triangle

Brown triangle pigment on back of cornea

  • Brawny edema
    Brown edematous haze of epithelium in EBMD or RCE

  • Ferrys line
    Orange - brown  ferric stain around surgical bleb

  • Fleishers ring
    Orange - brown ferric stain around base of keratoconus cone

  • Goars line
    Pigment horizontal line on inferior cornea
    Indicates pigmentary glaucoma

  • Hemosiderosis
    Posterior corneal blood stain
    Indicates neovascular intracorneal bleed or hyphema

  • Hudson-Stahli line
    Orange - brown band in bowmans where lids meet
    Frequency parallels age
    More common in males
    May RCE

  • Kaiser-Fleisher ring
    Orange - brown copper line in posterior cornea and angle
    Indicates Wilsons Hepaticolenticular disease

  • Keratitic precipitates
    White or pigmented cells on endothelium
    May indicates uveitis

  • Keratomelanocystosis
    Pigmented spokes radiating into cornea from limbus at 4:00 and 8:00 in dark races
    May indicate staph infection or trauma

  • Kruckensberg spindle
    Indicates old uveitis or pigment dispersion syndrome
  • Salmon patch
    Orange discoloration of mid-stroma 3-6 weeks after onset of interstitial keratitis
    Indicates syphilis

  • Sampaolesi’s line
    Pigment deposits in schwalbes line
    Indicates pigmentary glaucoma

  • Stockers line
    Orange - brown ferric ions at leading edge of ptyrgium
